It’s every fathers worst nightmare to see their daughter end up with the wrong man and not being able to stop it.

Overprotective and loving father, Ned (Bryan Cranston), packs up the whole family and goes to visit his daughter in Stanford over the holidays. But unfortunately, as soon as he arrives he meets his biggest nightmare – his daughters new boyfriend.

Think Russel Brand meets Marc Zuckerburg – the boyfriend, Laird (played by James Franco) is a socially awkward Silicon Valley billionaire, who has absolutely no filter, and is totally inappropriate for his daughter.

Things then take a turn for the worst when Ned’s biggest fear comes true and Laird is about to pop the big question…
